Do you see the glass half full or half empty?…

The night is chilly, the weekend has arrived but the most important thing about this moment is that it has the potential to become a memory that will never fade. If you asked me what I love most about life, I would no doubt be able to list quite a number of things but at the top of the list, I would have to put the simple possibility that we have the capacity to make a day special even if the cards are stacked against the natural order of things.
As I sit here sipping on a cappuccino, and a well prepared one at that, I think about all the days that get lived and forgotten. Now I’m not quite sure if it’s possible to make every single day memorable to the point of being able to recall them at any moment, but I do know that it’s worth the effort to try to make that a reality.
With that said, I ask you tonight:

My answer:
It’s not always an easy thing, but I try my best to see the glass half full as much as possible. Granted, there are time when it seems that there isn’t even a glass but more often than not, I try to focus on what’s there instead of lamenting what’s missing. It’s a daily choice and one that is best made early in the morning before the day get started 
hope it’s a fun start to the weekend and that regardless of how the day started that it ends with a glass half full mood

I woke up early this morning to the soft whisper of rain outside my window. Went back to sleep with the sweet lullabye cascading from the heavens. It is a cold night here as well. Wrapped up in blankets and watching cartoons with my kids. We are so excited that one of our favorite cartoons, AVATAR has been made into a movie directed by James Cameron! yaaay! The glass is always full. Sometimes the glass has a tendency to tip over and spill all over the place, lol. Stay warm. Is there snow in the forecast?
I knew this question would come up sooner or later! These days it would be easy to say “half empty” considering the tough economic times, civil unrest and general stress of life weighing in larger and larger. No matter the circumstance, I’ve always tried to picture the glass half full. There are some important aspects missing in my life and for others but something manages to compensate the void- making someone else smile because of an action I take, being rewarded emotionally or in some other way, getting lucky somehow, even coming across a head’s up penny
It has been my experience that one’s cup is both half empty and half full. As a choice…Overflowing is the goal!

Wow what a lesson I learned yesterday!
I received an unexpected phone call from a friend of mine.
What stood out the most about the conversation was her ex boyfriend. She was telling me that he is blind and how he loves to travel and that he lives in New York…
He’s even been sky-diving. I was so inspired because I think of how hard it might be to adjust to New York living, the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced lifestyle.if you weren’t from there and this man gets on a bus or a train, goes out to work everyday, with despite what people would call a major disability.
He walks across a New York City street blind! If that’s not walking in faith I don’t know what is.
Anyhooo I am thankful today that I can see the cup! and I am not going to think about the little things that aren’t going exactly how I want them too and will be thankful for what is right and focus on that and count my blessings which are many.
it is a choice to be thankful.

I guess it depends on what’s in the glass as to whether it is half empty or half full!!!
um… ya….think Rachel… I see it full because I never see things halfway… If that class is half then I pour the rest of me into it and see it full until someone drinks me up and I have to go in and fill it up again.
