Not a good time to be a hall monitor..

As a general rule of thumb in life, whenever I see a bear in close proximity, I stay away. Call me crazy. lol!
I hope it’s been a good Monday so far for everyone. Things are nice and peaceful around here, trotting along, going through the infamous ‘to-do’ list one item at a time. I tend to want to do three things at once and then get frustrated so I am just going through each item brick by brick until I can step away and see the wall standing tall. At least that’s my theory, we’ll see how it goes 
I had a beautiful weekend in Mexico in the town of Tlaxcala and got to spend it with a wonderful family that took me in as their own. Lots of food, lots of warmth and the constant reminder of how important it is to create a home and not just have a house. It takes years and lots of love to generate the safety and love that a home requires but every time I get to see it up close, I am convinced time and time again that it is worth every ounce of effort and sacrifice that is needed and that nothing in this world comes close to having that. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and I want to publicly thank my mom and dad for always providing that for me and my sister’s lives.
on that note, I will wish everyone a beautiful rest of the day and hope that you find yourself in a great place reaching for great things. Focus your energy on what’s right and you’ll have a lot more energy left over to work on what could be better without the stress.

Adrian, growing up in a home w/ so much safety & love is a blessing, so many people never experience that as you know. I thank your mom and dad for providing that to you and your sister’s. If you should ever want to create your own loving family, I know that you will be most happy. You most certainly came from a great family! Like your song says, “I want it all” How long? U will have it all in time! One brick at a time.

Speaking of gratefulness: After the show last December your mother and I had brief moment when we gave each other a big hug. Her face then lit up like a Christmas tree. She shared, my son is a very good boy. At that moment, she expressed an affection of much honor for you that is just priceless. That spoke volumes to me about your relationship, it does not get better than that.
